A blog is a regularly updated journal or diary made up of individual posts shown in reversed chronological order. A blog is tightly coupled to the author so each user will have his 'own' blog. - Event. An event is a story which can be given a start and end date, thus appearing in the events calendar.
- Forum Topic. This is a subject that you want to use to develop a discussion threat. Perhaps some issue that needs input from others for resolution. Any registered user can create a new topic for discussion in the forums.
- Image. An image (with thumbnail) will be posted to the Photo Gallery. This is ideal for publishing photographs or screenshots of company events, local activities, etc.
2. Create Groups: Groups are isolated in the site and identified by their own domain name and heading. Every group can have it's own blogs and forums, events calendars, photo galleries, etc. To creat a group select Groups and then you can request access to set up a new group from the sponsor. To request this access, select click here and fill out the information to contact the site sponsor. Please include in your message the group/organization's purpose and describe likely subscribers (if any).
Within Groups you can have:
Public Groups are visible to all visitors to the community website and are listed on the home page. While most of the content in Public Groups should be made visible to everyone, some content can be made visible only to subscribers.
Private Groups are only visible to subscribers. While most of the content in Private Groups is visible only to subscribers, some content can be made visible to everyone visiting the group's site.
A Blog Virgin no more!
Wow--my first time as a blogger. Thanks, KWPM, for making blogging so easy. I look forward to posting and discussing issues that are confronting us as real estate professionals. And, as a first-time blogger, I promise to always practice safe blogging by using spell check.
